About the foundation
We are a newly established Not for Profit/ Charity dedicated to making basic healthcare accessible to those sleeping rough. Through strategic partnerships with local organisation's and government agencies, the charity aims to address systemic issues such as inadequate healthcare services and provide health education in areas such as Sexual health, women's and men's health, mental health and also ensure our providers foster a culturally safe and appropriate setting for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
A message from our founder
Hi my name is Kathy, the founder of The Streetside Health Hub, and I'm a passionate advocate of accessible healthcare and my focus is to make a positive impact on those experiencing Homelessness.
I have a background in Nursing and a passion for helping others, and I've seen a need in my community for an organisation that could provide comprehensive support for those struggling with homelessness.
Drawing upon my experience working within the local community, I have established The Streetside Health Hub with the goal of addressing the healthcare system that many may find inaccessible and improving the overall well-being of individuals and families in need. Through innovative programs and partnerships with local organizations, The Streetside Health Hub has already made significant strides in developing important relationships with local community organisation's, businesses and potential volunteers.
My passion and mobile clinic along with our dedicated volunteers hope to bring some friendly faces to areas within the City of Gosnells and surrounds.

Frequently Asked Questions
The Streetside Health Hub was founded not that long ago when I discovered there was a huge shortfall in services for those experiencing homelessness. So in August 2026 I put together a plan and the NFP was born
Helping can be in many different ways. Making a donation is always appreciated, but if you're a Nurse, Dr, Social Worker or any health professional you can donate your time and skills and help out at one of our clinics. If you're not you can still assist by helping us set up, hold a fundraiser, collect cans or collect other items to go towards our personal hygiene packs. The sky's the limit!
We are still in the process of opening bank accounts etc. But if you would like to make a monetary donation please send us an email to discuss how this can be done.

What we do!
We conduct basic health checks, minor wound care and health education and promotion. We also hand out personal hygiene packs and also have tea, coffee and a bicki or two!
Basic health checks
We do basic health checks that include blood pressure, pulse, temp, respiration rate, oxygen saturation levels, blood glucose levels if indicated and can also check ears, chest and throat for signs of possible infection.
Minor wound care
We are able to assess and dress minor wounds and work out a wound care plan that suits you and your needs. We can organise a follow up time to redress your wonds or refer you to a GP or ED if needed.
Health promotion and education
Promoting good health is a large part of what we do. Educating people on how to manage their wounds, diabetes, asthma is an integral part of the clinic. We are here to work with people, not just tell them what to do and then leave.
Referrals
Referring to other services is an important aspect of holistic care. This maybe social workers, podiatrists, GPs, Emergency Departments or other organisations.
Social gathering
One of the most common aspects of not having a home is the feeling of social isolation. Numerous people have stated that this is what affects their mental health the most. We hope to provide a safe place for people to have a coffee and a chat. Free from racism & judgement but full of friendship, respect and acceptance
